Former Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders, along with several other speakers, visited Scranton High School on Saturday, Oct. 8, to campaign for Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. “There is a lot of work that has to be done, but I have absolute confidence your generation is capable of doing that”.

“This is pretty insane but there are people paying student debt at six, eight, 10 percent on their student loans”, Sanders remarked, contrasting that to some vehicle loans as low as 1.5 percent.

“We can not support a candidate who is running a campaign based on racism, based on sexism, based on dividing us up”, Sanders told a crowd of roughly 1,000 people gathered Tuesday in the middle of the University of New Mexico campus. One heckler was removed by security after yelling during the speech. “You do”, Trump said.

“Electing Donald Trump as president would be a disaster for this country and something we must not allow”, Sanders said. The mostly likely outcome would be 326 votes for Clinton to 212 for Trump. “Our country’s been around for 240 years, and you know we are a country based on laws”, she said.

The poll – a joint project between The Arizona Republic and ASU’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy and Cronkite News, the news division of Arizona PBS – shows Clinton, the Democratic nominee, leading Trump 39 to 33.9 percent among likely voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3 percentage points. “That doesn’t always serve you great in a campaign for president”.

“She is a politician that does not seek to be the center of attention and is inherently more private than most politicians, certainly presidential candidates”, Palmieri said.

That has not happened, in part, given these basic numbers: there are 5.8 million registered Democrats in NY compared with 2.7 million Republicans.

For those in the crowd who already have student loans, Sanders said the federal government needs to lower their interest rates.

“As a result of their campaign contributions and their lobbyists, we have a corrupt tax system”, Sanders said. “I think he’s right”, the Democratic nominee said.

Republicans here have reason to be confident and urge a closer look to the same Arizona secretary of state voter registration data that have Democrats buzzing.

“And as I said in the closing, I’m reaching out to all Americans”.

Sanders trounced Clinton in New Hampshire with millennials as well as Independents, and winning over both groups will be a test of Clinton’s strength as the standard bearer of her party.

Tonight, Sanders live tweeted the final presidential debate and made that goal even more clear. “But I had students walking into City Hall that day to register to vote in person”.

“I want to figure out what it is before I get involved with it”, says Tanaka.

“We are going to start making things in America again”. Bernie Sanders – to the state in order to make a play for its 11 Electoral College votes.

Jay Lovell, a combat veteran from Las Cruces who attended the rally supporting Johnson, said the Libertarian candidate is the only alternative choice who can beat Clinton.

And while 58 percent said Clinton is not honest or trustworthy, 73 percent of respondents – including 40 percent of Republicans – voiced the same worries about Trump.

Apparently, even in his home state, Sanders could not stand against the influence the Clinton campaign wielded over establishment Democrats.

“I think at this moment present to Barack Obama”. Although those against Clinton may have hoped to cause a rift between the former rivals, Sanders didn’t take the bait. A vision of a country riven by division and ruled by fear.

Podesta was also asked if he had called Sanders a doofus.

It’s not just because Grandpa Bernie told us to.

Sanders said attendees at the event must talk to their friends and family about voting.

“Real change never ever takes place unless millions of people band together”, Sanders said. “Tell your friends they damn well better understand this election is important”. But Trump hasn’t spent any money on television ads in Arizona.
