In debate, Trump signals aggressive close to his campaign

As one critic pointed out, the word debate loses its meaning “when one candidate is serious and the other is a “vacuous bully”.

House Speaker Paul Ryan is all but conceding Hillary Clinton will be the next president. Instead, he’ll campaign for GOP congressional candidates.

Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for Clinton’s campaign, issued a statement viewed by Variety that commented, “We’re not surprised to see Donald Trump continue his destructive race to the bottom”.

Less than 24 hours after the debate, Clinton and her team have already started to prepare for the third and final contest in Las Vegas later this month. “I don’t agree with almost anything else he says or does, but I do respect that”.

But at the end of the second debate on Sunday, Trump offered uncharacteristic praise of his opponent’s toughness.

According to a count by the The Daily Caller, Trump was interrupted by the moderators 26 times, while they intervened with Clinton a “comparatively small” 12 times.

Trump’s campaign had originally planned on seating the four women-Paula Jones, Kathy Shelton, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey-in the Trump family box at the Presidential debate with the goal of having them confront Bill. (Trump’s campaign chief, Steve Bannon, is now on leave from Breitbart, which he also runs.) The Drudge Report linked directly to Trump’s ad under the headline “Moderators gone wild”.

Clinton took jabs at Trump and his response to Friday’s video release before the crowd of around 4,000 supporters at the Matthaei Center.

A new television ad from Donald Trump’s campaign raises questions about Hillary Clinton’s health, once again elevating fringe conspiracy theories to the forefront of the presidential race. In another clip getting wide airplay on Monday, Trump tells Clinton that “you’d be in jail” if he were elected.

The social media platform says the question of Republican nominee Donald Trump’s treatment of women dominated the online conversation.

“This was locker room talk”, Trump said. This was particularly true when she addressed the tape of Trump’s lewd comments about women and in the half-hour after the debate.

Running mate Mike Pence said he was staying with Trump. “You interrupt me all the time”, he responded.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump vowed to “get a special prosecutor” to investigate Democratic rival Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.
