Massachusetts voters set to begin casting ballots early

More than 3,000 people cast their ballot in the first four days of early voting in Dickson County, according to the county election commission.

In anticipation of the rush, election officials said they’ve been managing voter registrations and absentee ballot requests, preparing poll workers and readying voting equipment.

Early male voters, however, cast a similar number of ballots, whether Democrat or Republican.

However, registered Republicans now have a slight lead – 1.8 percentage points – in the almost 1 million ballots received by Friday.
