HTC launches global version of Bolt, calling it HTC 10 Evo

Turning to the high end, its configuration uses the much-maligned Snapdragon 810, which fitted the smartphones of past year. Launched in Taiwanese market, the handset has been also listed on the company’s United Kingdom site and is considered as the global variant of the recently launched HTC Bolt, which is a Sprint-exclusive handset in the U.S. market.

The design of the HTC 10 Evo is impressive for a number of reasons. Furthermore, the phone gets a ideal 16MP sensor on the back that carries all the features you desire, be it OIS or even PDAF. Read on to find out.

HTC, the Taiwanese company, made several flip-flops with its flagship products by overpricing and under delivery in specs and features.

HTC still has plenty of new features to shout about. The mobile device features a large 5.5-inch Super LCD 3 display with quad HD resolution that offers a pixel density of 534 ppi. As seen in HTC smartphones, the HTC Desire 650 smartphone also comes packed with thousands of different themes. And, with an IP57 rating, the HTC 10 Evo should fare better against water than its IP53-rated elder.

However, after Apple has released the first smartphone with no headphone jack, HTC took notice and went on to develop one of its own “jackless” smartphones.

That means those who want to listen to music or watch video on the phone will either have to use wireless bluetooth headphones or plug in their cans via the USB-C port. Besides this feature and the newest version of Android and all its new functionality, the HTC 10 Evo has some rather outdated specs for the current market.

In terms of front-facing snappers, the HTC 10 Evo has an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/2.4 aperture, 29mm focal length and Auto HDR. The only action on the phone’s back panel is its main camera, jutting out with a modest camera bump.

In the United States, this phone is priced $600 with an SIM-free price tag. Good thing too, because the HTC 10 evo brings a few premium things to the table. A pair of beveled edges form the transition between that panel, the phone’s edge, and its face, resulting in a handset that’s got an exceptionally solid feel to it. The 5.5-inch display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
