Walmart is starting Cyber Week on Black Friday

Black Friday used to start the day after Thanksgiving, but now it starts the night of. Yes, people can get great deals for the Christmas season, but stores have to deal with the early hours, insane customers, and chaos.

There’s free shipping on all orders of $49 or more. Stores will close at 1 a.m. EST on Black Friday and reopen at 8 a.m. EST on Black Friday. Also, the retailer has offers for video games which majority are less than $30 and the Fitbit Charge 2 which cost less than $130. It would also be a smart decision to check out the sales and deals from Target, Best Buy and HH Gregg. Many like shopping online to avoid crowds, while others prefer shopping in-store, he said.

More than 23 million items will be available on Walmart’s website after Thanksgiving, an increase from eight million items in 2015.

Last year, the world’s largest retailer pulled up the Cyber Monday deals to the Sunday evening after Thanksgiving for the first time. In the past, doorbusters were only at the store.
