Aside from the dominant and disappointing squash match to end it all, WWE’s “Survivor Series” was a pretty solid show. Mick Foley came out and made a No DQ match between Rollins and Owens for the Universal Championship, with Jericho and Reigns banned from ringside. It is now clear that his second WWE run is not just a one-match wonder. And apparently the recent win at Survivor Series opens that possibility.
The real reason why Bill Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar so quickly at WWE Survivor Series was reported very shortly after the PPV. Equally surprising was the fact that The New Day was eliminated nearly immediately. But, the champions will have to defend it against the team of Gallows-Anderson, next week on Raw. Provided he does, it makes for some fascinating planning. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows defeated The Golden Truth and also earned a shot at the tag team titles.
