Big Ten notes: Harbaugh isn’t guaranteeing a thing this time

Ohio State now sits at No. 2 in the College Football Rankings and ultimately the Buckeyes control their own fate going forward. That bodes well. However, Penn State has championship aspirations directly in front of it. All but six of those 24 conference games ended in a MI loss. Alabama has already earned a spot in the SEC Championship game, and since losses to unranked opponents have not hurt any of the other top four teams, I don’t think a loss to No. 13 Auburn would knock the Tide out of playoff contention.
