How Does Richard Die on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life?

Ever since Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed she knew the final four words she wanted to end the show with, fans have been speculating as to what they possibly could be.

So what were the Final Four Words? But what it is all about and why are they so important to the story?

San Francisco – The long-awaited reboot of “Gilmore Girls” has everything fans of the original would want, and more than enough hooks to find a whole new crop of viewers who will no doubt wish there were a place on Earth as magical as Stars Hollow, Conn.

If you haven’t watched the miniseries yet, you shouldn’t be reading this article.

With those four little words, Gilmore Girls got turned on its ear – and the mother-daughter duo of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore came full-circle.

However, since Rory and Logan broke off their friends-with-benefits arrangement, a baby doesn’t necessarily mean they will be getting back together.

Strayed wrote Wild after going on a months-long hike along the Pacific Crest Trail as a way to cope with the loss of her mother.

Sherman-Palladino tells The Hollywood Reporter that it was an “interesting” experience seeing the words finally being said out loud on camera.

We will be able to have a glimpse of nearly all the characters: with the exception of Edward Herrmann, who saddendly died in 2014, the show will welcome back the Stars Hollow’s community.

We don’t know how to feel. Perhaps most memorably, Lorelai and Rory were rarely seen without a coffee in hand – which translated to a grand total of 348 cups between them, by my count. They had always had a creative connection, so it would make sense for them to reconnect that way, but could it mean something romantic too? First there’s the rich, handsome, carefree guy who represents the world of Richard and Emily, full of wealth. “Logan is her Christopher”, pointed out one TVLine reader. When those two characters first met, they even bonded over being kicked out of the same boarding schools. In some ways, it would be too flawless, but who else is Rory supposed to be with, if not Jess?

While Kelly Bishop who plays Emily Gilmore also stated that her character, “has been there all along”.

“Lorelai can’t get a new vehicle, it seems”, Graham cracks.

We will have a proper conclusion for Rory’s lovelife. “And I think it’s a little uncomfortable for [Rory] even though she’s kind of putting on a fearless face that she’s fine with it”. Luke leaves to drive Rory to the airport, and Lorelai gets hammered and tells a few stories from her childhood about her father abandoning her.
