Nancy Pelosi Wins Another Term as Democratic Leader

Tim Ryan ‎to retain her post as the top elected Democrat in the House during a closed-door meeting Wednesday.

While Ryan’s fellow Ohioan Marcia Fudge publicly backed Ryan, Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Jefferson Township, voted for Pelosi.

Pelosi sent several missives to colleagues in recent days, promising to shake up the way she oversees House Democrats, including providing more opportunities for more junior members to participate in leadership decisions.
