Two attackers have opened fire at an Istanbul nightclub, wounding everal people, Turkish media reports.
Private NTV television said more than one assailant may have been involved in the attack.

A week later, fourteen Turkish soldiers were killed and dozens more wounded in a suicide auto bombing blamed on Kurdish militants targeting off-duty conscripts also claimed by the TAK.
“I got shot in the (expletive) leg, man”, he told journalists.
“They say 35 to 40 died but it’s probably more because when I was walking, people were walking on top of people”. US President Barack Obama expressed condolences on Saturday for the attack at a night club in Istanbul and directed his team to offer help to their North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ally.
An estimated 600 people were celebrating inside the club that is often frequented by famous locals, including singers, actors and sports stars. The attack was claimed by Turkey-based Kurdish militant group, the Kurdish Freedom Falcons.
Footage released by Turkish media show a number of Ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
“Turkey is known to host these big parties to celebrate New Year’s, but this year most citizens were wary of Islamist attacks so they chose to celebrate it at home with their friends”.
Price says the USA supports its North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ally Turkey as both countries fight terrorism.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed “deep sadness” over the attack and said that he was being constantly updated on the investigation and the casualties by Prime Minister Binali Yildrim, state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
Eyewitness Sinem Uyanik said her husband Lutfu Uyanik was wounded in the attack.
At least 39 people have been killed after a gunman attacked New Year revellers at a nightclub in Istanbul.
Hundreds of people were in the club when the attack happened, at around 23.30 GMT, or 01.30 local time.
