Huawei Honor 6X Price, Specs & Why It’s Perfect For Filter-Loving Millenials

The handset was first showcased in China previous year and is the successor to the low-priced Honor 5X.

We’ve had the Honor 6X in our hands for the past few weeks and it’s certainly impressive considering its low price. What should fans expect from Huawei Honor 6X?

Huawei’s sub-brand will offer the phone in several configurations including 3GB of RAM+32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM+32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM+64GB of internal storage.

According to a presentation slide shown during the official announcement at CES 2017, Honor 6X is suppose to receive the highly-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update sometime in Q2 2017.

Cameras (Rear and Front): The smartphone will spot a 12MP + 2MP rear cameras (for better photography with cleaner focus and wide aperture mode) along with an 8MP front facing camera. While the inclusion of microUSB is not the worst offense, it is quite odd, considering this is now 2017 and we just assumed all new phones would have Type-C.

Honor 6X was launched in three variants in China back in October and since then speculations have been rife for its upcoming launch in India. It runs the Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Hauwei’s Emotion UI 4.1 on top, similar to what the P9 has. It also came with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, and 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. And now it’s time for the company’s next instalment: the Honor 6X. The rear camera features an adequate 12 MP sensor paired with a 2 MP sensor, which can only be suitable for detecting depth of field to create effects. Let’s see what you can get for this amount of money. The Honor 6X features a 403ppi 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1,920×1,080 pixels and it is crispier than its predecessor.
