At the evening portion of the date, Liz and Nick talk and she keeps making excuses for why she did not try to pursue this before him being The Bachelor. The first one will be a “Brides & Bridesmaids” photo shoot with 12 girls.
Liz then went on to say that they had sex during that time. “Dad would be proud, even though I was naked”.
Back at the house, when the women started to discuss how Corinne had kissed Nick, Liz said, “I didn’t kiss him… last night”. She is upstaged by a couple of the other girls like Corinne, who takes her top off during her part of the date.
“Nick held my boobs today, like, he held my boobs-uh”. She chose to not keep in touch with Nick.
But Corinne was far from done. Probably so, since she does give great confessionals. This is only the first week, and he hadn’t gotten a chance to talk to her yet – it seems a little unusual to me, and I bet it’ll blow over quickly. Plus, “I was so wasted”. Again with the breasts. “Corinne’s world is glamorous”, she said, switching into third person as she walked through a fountain overlooking the ocean.
We just hope Corinne develops a thicker skin if she’s going to stick around. In fact, she watched The Bachelor 2017 premiere with her family last week, and everyone thought it was superb.
In the first group date, the ladies posed for themed wedding pictures with Nick, with the photographer picking a victor who’d enjoy a mystery prize. And you have to go and do what’s good to you. During this, viewers were introduced to Rachel, 31, a Dallas-based lawyer who (unlike most of the other women) doesn’t believe in love at first sight – but she does, however, believe in forming an instant connection.
Oh my God, shut up already!
“I was myself. That’s all I did, guys, literally”.
But in ABC’s alternate reality, it is participation on the show that makes Chris Soules an expert on love.
Nick chose Danielle M., with whom he shares the same hometown, for his first one-on-one date. However, during their chat inside the mansion, Nick immediately brought up their little hook up at Jade and Tanner’s wedding.
And that encouraged Danielle to open up about her fiancé who died: “He overdosed on drugs and I found him”. What could’ve been a fun date at Los Angeles’ Museum of Broken Relationships instead turned into very awkward confessional from Liz.
‘I think it’s the first time I’ve ever been smacked in the face.
Anyway, all of this sharing made Danielle happy.
Was this the best decision she could have made at that point?
Nick has some 1-on-1 time with Christen – Christen reveals that she knows he hooked up with Liz and Nick is obviously thrown off. She’s virtually passed out at every cocktail party and had to be woken up by members of film crew for rose ceremonies. He seemed to give her the benefit of the doubt, until Christen revealed she knew Liz’s secret.
During this episode, we get to ask ourselves the fun questions: Is she actually insane?
For the first group date, Nick and his first batch of contestants, including Corinne, participated in several bridal-themed wedding photo shoots. Nick is not a newbie in the reality television show because he was a contestant on the previous season of the show’s counterpart “The Bachelorette“.
“I think based on the conversation we’ve had now, I have the clarity I’m looking for and I just don’t think we have a future”, Nick says.
Cue the shock and consternation, and the “To be continued” graphic. But in the wake of Liz’s departure, Nick decides he must tell the women about his and Liz’s past, and it seems the women don’t take it well.
