For team-based games, however, its pretty much a requirement that teammates be able to talk to each other.

In an ideal world, Nintendo would be chasing Psyonix for a Switch version of Rocket League. They heavily stressed that the docking station was nothing more than just that.

We’re not sure if you’ll need to subscribe to Nintendo’s online service to stream TV and movies, but we do know one thing for sure: When the Switch launches, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and other streaming apps will not be available. And now that it is announced, the developers should have come out with more information regarding the features of the console. The pic shows a very similar UI with a slider menu for recently played games, but with one major difference. The Pro-Controller comes with a price tag of $69.99, the Joy-Con controller with a $29.99 price tag and the spare dock with an $89.99 one.

The new UI image was posted on American video game developer and publisher Nicalis’s official Twitter account.

The Nintendo Switch is slated for a global release on March 3, 2017.

EA made a subtle, but still clear message that “FIFA” will be the only game available for the Nintendo Switch for its entire lifespan, unless the platform succeeds in the industry. The Wii Remote and Nun chuck were used throughout the life of that console as well as the Wii U, 10 years. This way you should have a better understanding of what you’ll be getting for your cash, come March, if you chose to purchase one.

Vita’s meagre sales meant this didn’t take off, but the handheld’s only real use could be something Nintendo turns into a compelling reason to own a Nintendo Switch.

Will you be getting the Switch? At the moment there are only 6 confirmed games for launch and the following months are somewhat dry as well.

Furthermore, the addition of Afterbirth+ in the Switch’s launch lineup, conversely, should give committed gamers more than just The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild to keep their interest into. Fils-Aime says Nintendo will deliver on this, though you’re forgiven for having doubts – Nintendo is notorious for relying too heavily on first-party games that don’t come out with enough frequency.

Not exactly what we’d call a “steady pacing of content”, but Nintendo has plenty of space to announce more games.
