Nokia China has claimed that after releasing the Nokia 6 for the Chinese market, there will be a few more phones that would be released in the market.
An upcoming Nokia entry-level smartphone codenamed “heart” has been spotted online on the popular GFXBench graphics benchmark database. Today we have news of two such Nokia devices; a very large tablet, and a flagship Android smartphone. One of the bigger ones is Nokia flagship with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, NokiaPowerUser reported.
Just last week, the year marked the return of Nokia in the Android world where the Chinese variation of the Nokia 6 sold out in a single minute after it was launched on January 19. However, the company has mentioned that it may take a while for the smartphone to be available for public.
Under the HMD Global brand, the handset reportedly sold in under one minute during a flash sale.
Nokia, owned by HMD Global, is expected to make a host of announcements at Mobile World Congress in late February this year. Another thing that the Nokia Heart and Nokia 6 have in common is that both are powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processors. It has also been revealed that HMD Global could launch a Nokia-branded device that’s running Windows 10 in the near future. The reply states the phone is now under development and will take some time before it can be released.
Expected to cost $800, the Nokia P1 smartphone will be equipped with a 5.3-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display with either FHD or QHD resolution. At the event, the company should release more Nokia devices.
Besides, the Snapdragon 835 processor is said to come bundled with 6GB of RAM.
Additionally, with the Galaxy S8 not expected to be present at the trade show, the manufacturer will not have to worry about its high-end smartphone not getting sufficient amounts of spotlight.
