I understand why women are pro-choice.
But today, three generations hence, because of all of you, and the many more who stand with us in marches just like this across this nation, life is winning in America again.
Despite the interest of pro-life feminist groups, last weekend’s Women’s March excluded pro-life groups from participating in the rally.

While having a vice president in attendance at their event was a first for the March, it marked the first time in eight years that those gathered felt support from the White House for their cause. President Ronald Reagan made a video for the march in 1988 and President George W. Bush called in to the march in 2008, but no president or vice president has spoken at the march before, according to a march spokeswoman.
But few doubted Mike Pence’s commitment to the pro-life cause when he became the first sitting vice president to address the gathering in person. For the first time in a decade, Republican forces run the White House and both Houses of Congress. She said this year is different because of the new administration.
“That’s why next week President Donald Trump will announce a Supreme Court nominee who will uphold the God-given rights enshrined in our Constitution … as the late Justice Antonin Scalia”. “I mean, public opinion is outstanding and it has a lot of power and the president is more of that, but as far as the laws go that is, I think, one of the best things he can do”, Myslinski said. Also scheduled to speak are Sen. Her mother had an appointment for the procedure, but changed her mind at the last minute. “And I think he’s up to it, which I’m very excited about”.
The voices on the other side are raising their volume too.
In his remarks, Pence cited the founding fathers, saying: “More than 240 years ago, our Founders wrote words that have echoed through the ages”.
Sarah Croucher, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice CT, was one of the speakers at Hartford’s women’s march. “I want him to try to get all of the funding away from Planned Parenthood”, he said. “I see the injustice that has been going on in our nation, and I came because we need to let the world know that this is not right”, said AnnieLaurie Anton of Prescott, Arizona, a student at Colorado Christian University. When asked by Chris Matthews if he believes in punishment for women who have abortions, Trump said, “The answer is that there has to be some form of punishment”. They say that this is about protecting women but it’s not.
The university group was leading this year’s march through downtown Washington, parading alongside the National Mall to the Capitol and the Supreme Court.
