Samsung Galaxy S8 renders leaked again: Is this official?

January 30 07:49 2017

The leak also confirms the specifications which were originally reported by the Guardian. That design decision should help the devices feel fairly similar to last year’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the hand.

If this is true, then this would run counter to the whole point of eliminating the bezels at the front of the Galaxy S8 to expand the smartphone’s screen. The Android phones are said to have a 83% screen-to-body ratio and wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Scanner: the fresh leak says that Samsung galaxy s8 featuring Iris scanner which is at the back adjacent to the camera, it may sport an optical finger print scanner that will reading thumb print through display as well. Codenamed Dream and Dream 2, the two models will attribute the company’s infinity display with curved sides and little bezel.

For now, Samsung will have only two available versions – one that has the 5.8 inch display and second with 6.2 inches. The processors are purported to be 11 percent faster, provide 23 percent graphics and use 20 percent less battery. And while internally the 4GB of RAM remains unchanged from the past few models, 64GB is the new baseline when it comes to internal storage (supplemented by a 256GB-capable microSD slot).

Charging and connectivity will be handled via USB C and the headphone jack keeps its place on the bottom of the device. The Galaxy S8 definitely looks promising at this stage, however, it will all come to execution and how well they’ve integrated these new technologies. Because of the catastrophic failure of Galaxy Note7 past year this launch carries a special significance.

SAMSUNG’S new smartphone features have been revealed thanks to slip-up in an employee’s Linkedin profile.

It will also have an 8-megapixel front snapper and a 12-megapixel rear camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will have 64 gigabytes of internal memory, twice as much as its predecessor.

Just like Apple and Google, Samsung is adding an indigenous AI assistant. According to the report, the “lower part of the display supposedly capable of distinguishing between different types of screen presses”. Lastly, the S8’s display will be capable of intercepting multiple pressure levels a.k.a Force touch.

Price-wise, Blass notes an €100 increase in price over the Galaxy S7 phones (around €700) for Europe, specifically.

Again, this information from Blass could very well be a joke.
