February 21 13:57 2017

After an impressive and convincing 3-0 win against Fulham in the fifth round, which saw Harry Kane grab a hat-trick, Tottenham are set to host League One side Millwall and they will certainly fancy their chances of making it into the semi-finals after this draw.

The 23-year-old England striker, who took his tally to 19 for the season, ended a hard week for Spurs and manager Mauricio Pochettino on a winning note following defeats by Liverpool in the league and then Belgian outfit Gent in the Europa League last 32 first leg. We’ve got the players and the manager to go and do something special.

“It was just about bringing the desire back to the team, bringing that hunger back to the team, chasing balls down, running in behind”, Kane said.

“Sometimes we need that”. We’ve got to try to make Wembley our home.

Everyone is calling it a blip…it is one game away to Liverpool that we lost and away at Gent”.

While both Tottenham and Millwall’s positions at their respective league tables will be subject to change leading up to their FA Cup match, it’s clear that this is a game that is winnable for Spurs.

Victory continued the club’s assault on three fronts and propelled eight-time tournament winners Tottenham into the quarter-finals where they will face another all-capital clash against Millwall at White Hart Lane.

He added: “Yes, 100 per cent”.

‘I think that is important.

And despite having to fight their way past a Championship side in the last round, United’s fans are feeling quite confident that they’ll see off the Londoners on their way to the final. “That was important for us and a big boost of confidence ahead of Thursday”.

“When I first signed, I said I wanted to win trophies and I want to do that here before my time is up”.

“If you lose two times in a row it’s good to have a good game again”. The more used to the surroundings we will be’.

“Obviously we are not going to play the whole season perfectly – there are going to be ups and downs”.

Vorm; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Wanyama, Winks (Dembele, min. 79); Eriksen, Son, Alli (Onomah, min. 86); Kane (Sissoko, min. 75). Yes, their form is shaky, but Mauricio Pochettino has established a track record of using results like their last two losses and turning them into catalysts for change and improvement in his team. Also it bears mentioning that there are going to be some matches rescheduled because of the deep run, so we’ll have those updates for you as soon as we know them.
