White, black, pink, and gold are your color options for each model, while pricing and availability isn’t known at this time.

While, Xperia XA1 features Full HD 6-inch screen (1080 pixels) also along with a diamond cut-like finish on top and bottom that is held together by aluminium on the sides.

This year, major smartphone makers are eyeing on OLED panels especially after rumors on Samsung and Apple launching OLED display phones arise.

Rumours hint that the Xperia XZ Premium will arrive with a 4K HDR display, possibly the first phone to feature it. This is considered the world’s first Super slow motion video in a smartphone. It proudly boasts of having incorporated technologies from its “a” (alpha) and Cyber-shot camera lines. Both have the same camera, 23 megapixel with f2.0 aperture.

First of all, let’s talk about the Motion Eye feature that will allow the Xperia XZ Premium to snap four photos in the second, when the sensor will automatically detect movement. Xperia Blog reports that one of the main talking points will be the camera, capable of recording at 960fps with great low-light performance and anti-distortion.The XZ Premium is also expected to have a Snapdragon 835 CPU and a 4K HDR display. Powering the device is a 2900mAh battery.

The XA1 comes with a 5-inch “borderless edge to edge screen“, a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 3GB of RAM, microUSB for charging and data transfer and a paltry 2,300mAh battery. Despite carrying the HDR feature, it will not be “Ultra HD Premium” certified.

To get your hands on the Sony Xperia XA1, you’ll have to part with $299 and this starts from April 26. Chances are, however, the 4K resolution will only kick in with compatible content, pretty much like the Xperia Z5 Premium. For unknown reasons, Sony made a decision to deactivate the fingerprint sensor for the USA version of the XZ Premium.

The Xperia XA1 is a successor to the Xperia XA released past year, and according to Sony it takes technology from its previous premium phones and puts it into a mid-range handset. It also brings with it a more powerful processor, a little extra RAM and more storage.

The Xperia XZ Premium measures 156x77x7.9mm and weighs 195g, which is not half bad for a 5.5-inch smartphone and with 4K resolution, it ends up with 801 ppi of pixel density as well as 69.4 screen-to-body ratio.
