March 01 07:56 2017

The Galaxy Book is a 2-in-1 tablet that wants to be your laptop. Audio is delivered via four speakers tuned using technology from Harman, an audio company acquired by Samsung in November 2016.

LG’s G6 will cost a little less than the S8 and S8 Plus smartphones, while presenting most of the same experiences as the Samsung handsets.

The tablet has received performance boost in the form of a Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage and microSD card support ( up to 256GB).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and 4K video recording, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Software is an amalgamation of Android Nougat and the Samsung TouchWiz. The new S Pen, for example, have a new tilt feature for drawing in Adobe Illustrator.

The Galaxy Book is Samsung’s first foray into Windows convertibles. The back panel basically doesn’t have the camera hump that was there on the previous Galaxy Tab S2. Moreover, it also supports a keyboard case (optional and doesn’t ship in the box) which attaches at the bottom of the tablet via a pogo pin. If you have observed keenly the Galaxy Tab S3 seems to be rivaling the iPad Pro with the same set of functionalities and features including the 9.7-inch display.

Samsung announced the new Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC 2017. The tablet is built for the enterprise market. The Book 12 is more equipped with Intel’s Core i5 processer and a 12-inch AMOLED HDR display. The device comes with either 4 GB of RAM or 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB storage.

The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus are expected to be unveiled next month. This device comes in two variants, a 10.6-inch and a 12-inch screen size.

The S Pen includes convenient features such as “Screen Off Memo” to quickly jot down notes, PDF annotation for easy editing and professional-level drawing with advanced drawing tools.

The tablet will be supporting something called Samsung Flow. On the connectivity front, it features Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and a USB-C port. The Galaxy Book is created to be a powerful work centered tablet for on-the-go professionals that are looking for a computing experience not tied to a desktop.
