Nintendo Switch Review – The Foundation Of A Must-have Console

March 02 05:00 2017

So it may come as a surprise that the 16-time WWE champ has a soft spot for the Nintendo Switch.

Like its predecessors, the Nintendo Switch is a console with an terrible lot of potential.

Blaster Master Zero is one such game, launching simultaneously for Nintendo Switch and 3DS on March 9. If you’re sitting on the fence about also picking up the Switch Pro Controller, an extra incentive for doing so has been revealed.

The Escapists 2 – Sequel to the popular prison escape game, it features drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to four players, coming out later this year.

Overcooked: Special Edition – Bundling the main game with all its DLC content, there’s up to four player local multiplayer in this excellent couch co-op game from previous year.

Just to clarify: the Switch Stardew Valley multiplayer announcement DOES NOT mean that PC will get multiplayer later.

Remember how annoying it was when your Wii U would constantly light up because Nintendo had pushed a new free piece of software you didn’t want? While this new style of gaming is surely going to excite Nintendo fans-the console is sold out at many online retailers ahead of Friday’s launch-there won’t actually be that much to play when they get their hands on their Switches. Will these games boost the Switch? Bundle 1 will include the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and a copy of The Legend ofZelda: Breath of the Wild game for $429.99.

I’ll also take a moment to balk at the fact that over 200 songs were made available for this game via Just Dance Unlimited, but the game itself only has 40 and Ubisoft wants you to pay for more. Nintendo previously announced that at least 60 video game titles will be available on the upcoming console, including “The Binding of Isaac” and “Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove”.

Nintendo Switch is due for worldwide release on March 3. We can’t wait to see what Shin’en Multimedia have next up their sleeves.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. The process looks simple enough, and shouldn’t challenge anyone who’s set up a console in the past, but it could still be a useful primer for first-time console owners or the non-techies to whom Nintendo often markets it products.

Stardew Valley multiplayer could be coming to PC this summer
