Meeting with reporters on March 10 shortly after the ruling upholding Park’s impeachment, Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida said that “cooperation and linkages between Japan and South Korea are essential for the region’s peace and stability”.

The best way for China to use its resources is to bring North Korea to the table in a frame of mind to negotiate.
