Steph Curry is feeling so much better, he’s dunking on the Thunder

It was Gibson’s first Warriors game as a member of the Thunder.

To punctuate the theatrics, Curry broke into a full sprint toward the locker room the instant the ball went through the net to give the Warriors a 59-39 lead at the half.

Domination: In direct correlation to Westbrook’s struggles against the Warriors, Oklahoma City has just been utterly dominated by Golden State this season.

Stephen Curry exchanged shoves with Oklahoma City’s Semaj Christon just before halftime of a game Monday night, and both were issued technical fouls.

Mavericks: Defeated Brooklyn 111-104 on the road Sunday. Steven Adams scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting but somehow only tallied one rebound in 22 minutes of action. After a horrendous 6-20 start, the Mavericks have hauled themselves up from the bottom of the Western Conference standings.

It’s natural and defensible to look at the Thunder as a critical playoff plot point as April approaches because they’re an increasingly steady vehicle for their relentless superstar.

The Warriors lead the season series 2-0, winning twice at Oracle Arena. Curry had plenty of reasons to be motivated for Monday’s tilt against Oklahoma City-avenging his injured teammate Kevin Durant, getting shaded by Russell Westbrook (“Who is he?”)-and he delivered the type of performance we were used to seeing during his back-to-back MVP runs. They created a situation in which the Thunder couldn’t compete, even if Durant’s impact was confined to a suit.

And when it comes to MVPs, Stephen Curry knows a thing or two. Despite the dipping percentage, Curry leads the National Basketball Association for a fifth consecutive year with most 3-Pt field goals made. That included knocking down seven of his 15 shots from 3-point range.

In his past five games, Thompson is averaging 28.4 points while shooting 54 percent overall and 51 percent from 3-point range. “Obviously, we had Steph and Klay going from 3-point land”, he said.

Steph Curry showed the way for the Warriors, who overpowered the Bucks, 36-15 in the second and were never threatened.

When the ball is passed to David West in the post with six on the shot clock, most teams would just let West isolate.

Rookie Malcolm Brogdon led five Bucks in double figures with 18 points.

The Bucks shot 40.4 percent for the game.

Dallas’ Yogi Ferrell, the NBA’s Rookie of the Month for February, will face the Warriors for the first time.

The media has not been playing up this game as much as the previous meetings, but that is obvious with the NCAA March Madness now taking center stage.

“I was running so fast, I felt like Usain Bolt”, Harden said of his electrifying late break effort that clinched victory with 4.2 seconds on the clock. Russell did not have a great first half.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry outgunned Russell Westbrook as the Golden State Warriors scored an emphatic 111-95 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City
