N Korea missile launch flops

Earlier this month, satellite images of North Korea’s Punggye-ri test site obtained by 38 North, a website run by the U.S. -Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, showed continued activities at the North Portal.

Uk Yang, a defense analyst and adviser to South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense, said the next nuclear test should be seen in the context of its ICBM development.

A South Korean military official, who wished to remain anonymous, told Yonhap: “A bigger number of and more diverse USA special operation forces will take part in this year’s Foal Eagle and Key Resolve exercises to practice missions to infiltrate into the North, remove the North’s war command and demolition of its key military facilities”. He denounced joint annual military exercises now being carried out by the USA and South Korea on the divided peninsula. -South Korean military drills, which are conducted in South Korea every year.

North Korea conducted two nuclear testes and 24 missile tests in 2016.

At their meeting in Beijing in 2014, the Chinese leader told Obama: “China is ready to work with the United States to make efforts in a number of priority areas and putting into effect such principles”.
