Kendrick Lamar‘s new album DAMN. masterfully knocks on Fox News, greets the political climate (but not as blatantly as in past LPs), and sets a new standard for rap in 2017.
As it turns out, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. is a little bit different to the supposed tracklist that was leaked just a few weeks back, but its still just as impressive.
In February of 2016, Kendrick Lamar gave the most stunning Grammys performance of the decade. To further provide proof of that, the theory also refers to the original April 16 release date, which was subsequently changed to April 14.
Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated new DAMN. album is now in stores – including “XXX.”, a track featuring surprising contributions from the members of U2. The album follows 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly and last year’s untitled unmastered, a collection of unreleased demos.
The album was just released and it’s a no-brainer that it will be going to number one on the Billboard 200 with the next chart. Well, in Sounwave’s tweeted photo of Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, a reflection in his glasses shows the infamous blue and red pills at the center of the Matrix story.
The critical comments from Geraldo Rivera feature on DAMN.’s first three tracks. The voice of singer Bono can be heard two minutes 40 seconds into the track, which paints a sombre picture of the U.S. after the departure of Barack Obama and the arrival of Donald Trump at the White House.
Conclusively, the theory states the track list acronym also spells out another cryptic message: DEATH 2 THE LEADER.
