TRUMP: “No administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days”.

US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has sunk to a record low after almost 100 days in office standing at 42 percent, a new poll shows. One of his executive orders, imposing a travel ban from certain Muslim-majority countries, was a redo of an earlier executive order that had been blocked in the courts.

The president made an about-face on China’s alleged currency manipulation as he wooed leader Xi Jinping to take a more active role in the face-off with North Korea.

According to data from the latest Harvard-Harris poll, 66 percent of respondents believe the US military strike against the Syrian government early this month was justified, with only 34 percent saying that the military action was not justified. He also said Trump benefits when he draws the news media into focusing on trivial issues, such as outrage over a photo that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took with rocker Ted Nugent in front of a portrait of Hillary Clinton. Since taking office on January 20, his approval rating has hovered around 40 percent in most polls. And those Trump voters who have become wobbly in their support certainly don’t care about that stuff – they never have.

Toward the end of his campaign, Trump embraced the 100-day marker he is now questioning.

American commentary in the first months of the Trump presidency suggested a “love-in” between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This Saturday will mark 100 days in office for Trump.

Pollsters noted Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama held a 63 percent average approval rating during his first three months in office, while George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan had an average rating of 60 percent.

“The president has appointed a diverse set of executives with both government and private sector expertise who are now working to deliver an initial cybersecurity plan through a joint effort between the National Security Council and the Office of American Innovation”, said spokeswoman Lindsey Walters. So President Trump’s tough stance, short of all-out war, has been widely welcomed as an attempt to prevent any use of nuclear weapons which would result in death and destruction on a cataclysmic scale. The FBI at the time did not provide a breakdown of how numerous gang’s members were immigrants or US citizens.

White House correspondent Maggie Haberman highlighted Trump’s unique disposition in the White House as the first incumbent president to have no prior military or political experience. The most obvious failure is on health care, but other Trump proposals, from tax reform to a public works program, also remain stalled.

“FDR definitely outclasses Trump”, Brands said. “He had extremely negative coverage during the campaign”.

Half disapprove of the major changes he has proposed for government spending, while almost 6 in 10 say he is out of touch with the concerns of most people. You don’t just snap your fingers and get them done.

A recent poll released by Gallup showed Trump’s approval rating as slightly higher, at 43 percent, while his disapproval rating was 51 percent.

The latest survey, conducted by Quinnipiac University, was published April 19 and found 40 percent of respondents approving of the president’s performance, CBS News reported.
