Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is releasing this upcoming week, and as part of a celebration around the game, Target is teaming up with Nintendo to put out some special promotion at certain stores. The culmination of these made Mario Kart 8 one of the best Mario Kart titles to ever release; yet the title had one flaw: a poorly implemented battle mode. While it does slow down if you play with more than two players, I’m thrilled at how well it works with two as I rarely have anyone local to play games with me.
Pointed out by Twitter user Stonepa, these alternative title screens (shown below) received new HD backgrounds.
So far it’s raining good reviews for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is a new and improved version of the 2014 Mario Kart 8.
On the eve of the latest big Nintendo Switch release, yet another, albeit slightly odd, controller problem has reared its head.
There’s been an electric feeling in the air since Nintendo’s launch of the Switch on March 3.
Target announced this week that they plan to give more than 650 of their retail stores a Mario Kart makeover. The multi-player game can be played anywhere starting from your TV. Mario Kart 8 on the Nintendo Switch lets you crowd around a TV and pummel your friends with shells and bananas.
Bob-omb Blast: Originally seen in the Mario Kart: Double Dash! game, this mode finds players throwing a barrage of Bob-ombs at opponents. The other update is concerned with Wii U games lboost, about which more information is still awaited.
“However, the real joy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is how accessible it is on Switch”. Either way, if Market Kart 8 Deluxe Edition were to make an appearance on Xbox One, it would probably smash charts for quite a while. There will also be Mario music playing, lights flashing and so much more.
Target said in a statement that it’s the first time the company has decorated its carts.
