RINGWALKS FOR JOSHUA vs. KLITSCHKO HEAVYWEIGHT BLOCKBUSTER EVENT SET FOR APPROXIMATELY 4

April 27 10:11 2017

Heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder will be on hand when Anthony Joshua will defend his version of the title against former longtime world champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night, hoping to face the victor in a unification fight later this year. Let’s say we strip away what you just said, the excitement, the hype and just put us together.

The 27-year-old who has never allowed his mother to watch him in the ring since the London 2012 Olympics has told her not come for the fight because he is anxious she would distract him in the ring.

Do you ever have any question about anything you wish to ask and get answer? An inside the distance win for Joshua and hopefully an equally successful night for me with my date. I do believe I know how he thinks, where he goes, what he’s going to do and how the actual fight is going to be.

Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) and Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) will meet for Joshua’s IBF World Championship and the vacant IBO and WBA World Championships.

The 27-year-old Joshua, who is unbeaten in 18 bouts since turning professional in 2013, said he is not concerned about the punishment he could take in the ring because of his high-intensity training program. The second half of Klitschko’s 2015 victory over Bryant Jennings devolved just the same into a holdfest once the athletic Jennings found an avenue (and the courage) to circumvent his jab by uncorking looping right hands.

His defence wasn’t great in the fight, but that wasn’t him, that was someone else. With that, I want to move it more forward. You gonna have to, he’s gonna have to bring it, especially after the performance he did with Fury; he threw him out one punch. He has since successfully defended the title twice-against Dominic Breazeale in June and Eric Molina in December.

“With Klitschko, he feels like he’s dedicated himself back to the sport and that’s why he says he’s obsessed”. But Wilder will have his eye on the pair as potential future opponents as he aims to become the best heavyweight boxer in the world.

Klitschko said it was not hard to get back into the groove once he went to training camp in the Austrian mountains with trainer Jonathon Banks and now he is ready to prove he is not quite done yet, even though he has huge respect for Joshua, who earlier in his career helped prepare Klitschko for a fight as a sparring partner.

My heart is for Joshua, but my mind is for Klitschko. What those fighters did to beat Joshua was simple. “I definitely saw weaknesses; I’m not going to reveal that right here, you know”. People talk about [his age, 41], but age can play an advantage, too. Klitschko not only didn’t have it against Fury while showing an nearly disturbing lack of urgency, he mostly looked like he just didn’t want it.
