Pippa Middleton marries at almost-royal event in England

Pageboys and bridesmaids skipped gleefully ahead of the newlyweds.

The mother-of-the-bride, Carole Middleton, was slammed for showing her knee.

Kate Middleton and Prince William live at Anmer Hall, in Norfolk where the Cambridges have their own expansive kitchen garden.

Middleton married financier and hedge fund manager Matthew James, whom she had been dating on-and-off since 2012.

“I’m just getting into gardening with the children”, she reportedly told radio presenter Chris Evans.

Tabloids have focused on details such as a rumored Spitfire flypast and a 100,000 pound ($130,000) glass marquee erected specially for the reception at the Middleton’s home in the nearby village of Bucklebury.

Matthews, smiling broadly, arrived in formal wear. Well, that was certainly the case for Middleton, who did what many brides have done before her. And with so much attention on Harry and Meghan at present, there was a danger of Pippa being overshadowed by two women – her and sister Catherine. Her face was covered with a traditional veil dotted with pearls.

Now the duchess has swept back into the public eye with style, donning a green dress with white floral print for a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show, which kicks off this week.

“The Polynesian villa is everything people would expect – miles of white sand, attractive scenery and a 24-hour-a-day service from staff – and they’re staying there for a week”.

Perhaps in anticipation of the post-wedding effect on his A-list client list, the designer announced plans to put his ready-to-wear line on hold in favour of developing the bespoke end of his business.

“I don’t think there is any comparison between my wedding and Pippa’s, but I am a fan of hers and I was over the moon to see the pictures – all my friends were laughing”.
