“So you had another story wrong”, said Trump.
“Iran will never have nuclear weapons, that I can tell you”, Mr Trump told Mr Netanyahu. After mentioning threats to Israel from Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran, he said, “not with Donald J Trump”, drawing enthusiastic applause. He also made the same statement about Netanyahu, making clear not only to Abbas, but also to reluctant right-wing members of the prime minister’s coalition, that behind closed doors Netanyahu has expressed his willingness to relaunch the peace process.
The city is also surrounded by hilltop Jewish settlements on three sides, built both in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, communities that most of the world considers illegal, though Israel disputes this.
“President Trump reaffirmed his belief that peace is possible, not only between Israelis and Palestinians, but throughout large parts of the Middle East”, the release explained.
“Israel has never stopped supporting the U.S. Now that President Trump is fulfilling his promises to rebuild our relationship and support of Israel as our main ally in the Middle East, we are seeing a powerful revival of encouragement among Jewish people and Messianic Jewish worshipers [Jews who follow Jesus as Messiah] in the United States of America and all around the world”, Worshill told Baptist Press in written comments.

“That Palestinians have to negotiate their freedom and prove ourselves worthy of freedom is repugnant”, Buttu added, arguing that Trump should use its multi-billion dollar financial support to Israel as weight to pressure it from ending its occupation of Palestinian territory. “One needs to seize it, show leadership and boldness, and we will help them”.
Trump became the first sitting USA president to visit the Western Wall in the disputed city, placing his hand on one of the most sacred sites in Judaism in a highly symbolic move. “Drive them out of your holy land and drive them out of this earth”.
Trump will have visited significant centers of Islam, Judaism and Christianity by the end of his trip, a point that his aides say bolsters his argument that the fight against Islamist militancy is a battle between “good and evil”. “I look forward to working with these leaders toward a lasting peace”, the US President asserted.
“Iran’s leaders routinely call for Israel’s destruction”.
The U.S. president also pledged his support for renewed Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations.
“Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed, we cannot stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people. Change must come from within, it can only come from within”.
During a press conference following the meeting with the U.S. president, the Palestinian leader urged Israel to comply with the “just and humane demands” of more than 1,000 Palestinian hunger strikers who have spent 37 days without eating in Israeli prisons.
On hand to hear the speech were former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, pro-Israel GOP donor Sheldon Adelson, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, and Israeli opposition leader Isaac Herzog.
