Cavs ignore last year’s comeback after another 0-2 hole

LeBron was obviously frustrated after the game, as his team went down 2-0 for the second straight year, losing both opening games in Oakland. “The game is too fresh”.

The Cavaliers’ James came out strong, with 18 first half points.

“We cut it to four at one point and then they went on quick 9-0 run or 12-0 run”, James said. They had a 3-1 lead over Cleveland in last year’s Finals before the Cavs stormed back to win it in seven games.

He then received a huge ovation from the crowd before the game and got the performance he hoped from his team during it. Klay Thompson said on Kerr’s return.

Former coach and player Al Attles called it “terrific” news. Just as it was then, the Cavaliers have been crushed twice again to open things up this year. “And so it’s really nice to be back”.

The timing of Kerr’s decision created some concern about its impact on his team.
