NBA Championships: Golden State Warriors ride Durant to beat LeBron James’ Cavaliers

The first-ever NBA Finals trilogy is over, and the Golden State Warriors are NBA Champions again.

The Warriors won in 2015 before the Cavs made their historic comeback past year. He chose Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and a chance at his first championship over returning to Oklahoma City. Of course, that was before things were clicking for Golden State, as Kevin Durant and Steph Curry were still feeling each other out.

“The toughest challenge was to come in here and see how I can help my teammates get better – that was more important to me than anything”, said Durant. And with the team’s core lineup all in their prime, it looks like they could remain at championship caliber for several more seasons.
