Sorry Tom Cruise, but Wonder Woman is just too powerful. This brings the DC Comics superhero movie to a total domestic take of $205 million in its first two weeks and a global total of $435 million, according to box office numbers in The Hollywood Reporter.

Wonder Woman” is still at the top spot in North American theaters. Its second week drop was much smaller than previous films in the DC Extended Universe. “It’s a special movie that’s resonated everywhere”. Unlike those movies, the reboot chose to fashion itself as an action pic set in modern times. His contributions to film criticism can be found in Magill’s Cinema Annual, the International Dictionary of Films and Filmmakers, and the St. James Film Directors Encyclopedia (on which he collaborated with editor Andrew Sarris).

Sofia Boutella appears in a scene from, “The Mummy“. I know many of you reading this will roll your eyes at Pixar squeezing the life from a franchise that never should have even gotten a sequel, but I have to admit I’m pretty excited about it. It is the first of the Universal Monsters Universe collection of films to get a reboot, which means if this one explodes the box office, hopefully, fans will see Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster might get a revamp too. Tom Cruise was the poor soul in its wake and had to settle for a second place opening for “The Mummy“.

The film, which cost $125 million, has been widely panned by critics.

It’s been a long time since Brendan Fraser was delivering one-liners in the desert. It went on to gross a total of $155 million in the United States and $415 million worldwide.

Universal’s first big release in their so-called Dark Universe has officially bombed at the domestic box office, but The Mummy has at least managed to scrape back its budget internationally. “The accumulation adds up to a box-office total we’re proud of”. Directed by David Soren, the 20th Century Fox release features the voices of Kevin Hart, Ed Helms, Nick Kroll, Thomas Middleditch, Jordan Peele, and Kristen Schaal. Taking more than $230 from the worldwide box office so far, Wonder Woman has a current global tally of more than $435 million. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted with an impressive $166.1 million last March, which turned out to be roughly half of its $330.3 million domestic take.

Kata Mara’s drama Megan Leavey was boring in its start, mustering up just $3.8 million in its first weekend.
