So, while there are a few more matches on the card, these four should be the most impressive. As of this writing, 64% voted for Shane’s leap of faith from the top of the Cell while 21% voted for Shane & Owens battling on top of the Cell, 9% voted for Owens weighing whether to jump off the top of the Cell and the rest voted for Shane knocking Owens off the side of the Cell.
Kevin Owens was somehow standing tall after WWE Hell in a Cell after his victory over Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon.
One of the featured fights in the event will be between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura. With WWE heading to India, it was pretty obvious going into this one that Jinder was going to retain. “Hell in a Cell” is back with more wrestling action. This, needless to say, is not ideal. Jinder spent weeks making a fool of Nakamura and he just flat out pinned him again. We’ve heard from many sources, including Dave Meltzer that Zayn is now a heel. Daniel Bryan added Dillinger to the match during the pre-show, and that ultimately cost Styles his title. WWE managed to screw this build up in two different ways. It’s time to give Big Banter some of his confidence back by having him win the United States Championship. This can end up being a more intense rivalry with revenge on Styles mind. Bobby Roode is set to make his WWE pay-per-view debut in a match opposite Dolph Ziggler, while Rusev and Randy Orton will have a rubber match. I think this will be a great match, but I’m a little disappointed they didn’t make it a Hell in a Cell match to raise a little interest. Owens did not have a clue as to what went down, but that’s sure to come.
The Usos are now five-time tag team champions but this is their third run with the blue brand titles. Basically whining about how he isn’t very good with connecting to the crowd as a character these days. Is Team Canada destined to prevail or will they fall at Hell in a Cell?
Where can I get tickets? The Usos have expertly taken to their roles as a heel team and have evolved from their high flying, crowd pleasing nature into a ideal foil for the upbeat New Day. Owens went to the top rope and a front senton but McMahon put his knees up. That negates the fact that we all know the Singh’s are going to get involved in some aspect, but of course, they’ll find a way. Overall, this should have just been put on Smackdown Live and not on PPV. Sometimes it’s possible to forget that Big E is a monster, because WWE usually doesn’t book him as one.
As for Roode, he’s also an extremely talented performer who hasn’t really been given an opportunity thus far to really show what he’s capable of. It’s a well-done ending sequence, with the Usos alternating blows with the kendo sticks and Woods defiantly absorbing the blows best he could.
The tag team Championship brawl between The New Day vs. We’ll see, but they’ve certainly succeeded in shaking things up on Tuesday nights. JOHN POWELL: This is why you don’t break up successful tag teams.
I have no idea why the WWE continues to flog this seemingly dead horse, as there never was much synergy between these two – even at the outset, when Randy was the champion and Rusev was being given a big push.
After shocking the world and beating Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, Natalya successfully defended the title and opened up a spot for a new challenger. This will allow us to send you the best news in one place via an email.
This seemed like the obvious result for a lot of reasons, as the WWE seemed committed to following through on their surprise championship victor.
