What Cognitive Abilities Did Donald Trump’s Mental Assessment Test For?

CNN continued to push a crackpot theory that President Trump might be suffering from memory loss because he takes the popular cholesterol-lowering drug Crestor. The group offered rewards for any evidence that supported their claim, although none ever came.

If you haven’t seen the results of the Trump physical, we discuss it here, but what we’re told about his mental fitness is that he scored a 30 out of 30 on a cognition test that many people have never heard of: the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.

“He’s more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part, but we’re going to do both”, he said. He also appears in photos to be much heavier than 239lbs, when you look at him in photos beside other people around the same weight.

Though Dr. Jackson said there isn’t evidence Trump is heading down that road anytime soon, some experts say the screening test he used isn’t good enough to prove it.

Asked whether Trump has heart disease, Jackson said he did not.

“I get exercise. I mean I walk, I this, I that”, Trump told Reuters during an Oval Office interview.

Jackson held an extraordinary news conference at the White House that lasted for about an hour. Like most of his presidency, Trump’s weight became controversial.

Capt. Jeffrey Kuhlman conducted Barack Obama’s first physical as president.

Townhall political editor Guy Benson said, “The respected doctor who actually examined Trump says otherwise”.

The doctor systematically destroyed the argument laid out in Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury“, which portrays the president as impulsive, ignorant, delusional, with a loss of cognitive skills that left him unable to focus, remember what he had said moments earlier or speak without slurring.

It’s a relatively simple test that helps health professionals tell whether someone has an abnormal cognitive function – whether their ability to think is disturbed.

After the medical exam was over, one of the presiding physicians spoke to the media about Trump’s overall health.

Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, MD, the official Physician to the President, briefs the press at 3:30 p.m. ET Tuesday on the status of President Trump’s health.

“He is a male and he is in his 70s and he is overweight, borderline obese, and he has high cholesterol”.

“It will be one year ago this Saturday night that we swore in the most pro-life president in American history and in one short year President Donald Trump has made a difference for life”, Pence said. “Damnedest thing I ever saw”, he said.

A coronary calcium score below 100 reduces the risk of heart attack to moderate. It weakens the immune system and is associated with higher levels of metabolic problems, including diabetes, she said.

Past presidents are not known to have been tested for mental acuity while in office – including Ronald Reagan, who five years after leaving the White House was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
