AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR will now release earlier than expected!!!

On March 1, 2018, Iron Man actor Robert Downey, Jr. took to Twitter and interacted with the Marvel Studios Twitter account.

Our friends at HollywoodReporter.com announced today (March 1st, 2018) that Avengers: Infinity War will now open on April 27, a full week earlier than its previously announced release date of May 4.

There’s also the possibility that Marvel will instead wait for the official release of the film for us to get our first good look at Thanos’ goons, which is just as exciting if you ask me.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.

Marvel Studios first tweeted out about the film debuting on May 4, when Downey, Jr.

Then “voila”, Marvel stepped in and it would drop a week early. Infinity War will hit theaters worldwide on that same April date.

Infinity War will kick off the summer celebrations of Hollywood blockbusters in style.

Well, in May it would have been going up against other box office heavyweights like Deadpool 2 on May 18 and Solo: A Star Wars Story on May 25. In that light, the six untitled movies listed for 2021 and 2022 could possibly feature sequels to Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel.
