Former-Playboy model tells CNN she ”was in love” with Trump

Former Playboy model Karen McDougal on Friday opened up for the first time about her alleged sexual relationship with now US President Donald Trump. McDougal said she ended the relationship after 10 months.

Stripper and porn actress Stormy Daniels, who says she had a fling with Trump in 2006 around the same time as McDougal, will appear Sunday on CBS to share her story on 60 Minutes.

Donald Trump tried to give money to a Playboy model after he had sex with her behind Melania’s back, it was claimed. “I looked at it as I was doing work, and I’m getting paid for that”.

It was as close as Trump would get to responding to the growing public-relations mess of multiple sex scandals.

Now Karen, who said her lawyer at the time, Keith Davidson, secretly negotiated with Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen on the magazine deal, wants to be free to tell her side of the story.

“We spent a lot of time together”, McDougal said.

She accuses Mr Trump of sexually assaulting her at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2007. In what sounds like the opening scene for a verbal catfight, which is now over a decade in the making, McDougal questions Daniels’ claims.

Though Cliffords’ story took a little bit of the fear of telling the story away, she said, she probably would have come forward anyway after she learned more about her contract with AMI. It feels more like a horrendous slam aimed at Melania Trump. I mean, she’s a brilliant woman. This just adds insult to injury.

McDougal said the offer brought her to tears on the auto ride home.

McDougal is asking the court to declare her contract with AMI void, saying her story about Trump “is core political speech entitled to the highest protection under the law”.

“The look on my face must have been so sad”, she said.

McDougal said she broke up with Trump in April 2017.
