The episode ended with Rick and his girlfriend Michonne telling Negan they intend to rebuild civilization and will keep him imprisoned as an example to those who would violate its laws. After some tussling, Rick has a weapon to slash Negan’s throat with. They stop to catch their breaths and trash-talk each other, and Rick begs for a few seconds to plead his case. Furthermore, one of the best things about Negan’s imprisonment in the comics is the way it offers the opportunity to deepen his relationship with Carl, one of its most unlikely but strongest by that stage, which again can no longer happen. Later in the episode, Maggie, Daryl and Jesus began to plot against Rick & Michonne, possibly with the intent to kill them.
It is the voice of Daryl, crossbow in hand, fully supportive of Maggie’s decision for an eventual reckoning to come…
After Eugene (Josh McDermitt) slyly sabotaged the Saviors’ guns Negan’s army didn’t stand a chance.
“Fear the Walking Dead” season 4 airs on Sundays at 9 P.M. on AMC. “I hope that they are intrigued with these new characters, that they want to know more about them and they really like the way that they see the OGs interact with Morgan, who is an OG himself, and the new characters”.
Saviors are getting ready to roll out on Rick’s group. So the emotional pull this time around came in Rick’s memories of Carl. “As Andy says, I don’t think the story between, about the relationship between Rick and Morgan, is over yet”.
The Walking Dead season 8 has been plagued by arthouse-style montages, strangely-formatted episodes that mess with chronology, and other weird filmmaking choices to try and make it into something it’s not. Whistling coming from all sides, loudspeakers to project his voice, and lots of heavily armed Saviors took us right back to that night in the woods where Abraham and Glenn met their ends.
The remainder of the episode played out in mostly peaceful terms. It echoed their first meaningful encounter with the group as they carried Maggie (Lauren Cohan) through the woods as she suffered a bad bout of plot convenience disease (who may or may not be pregnant considering how they’ve ignored that aspect for the past year-and-a-half or so),. Many fans fear she might become a villain in Season Nine. In a shocking move, however, Rick made a decision to spare the head Savior’s life, so it’s possible that the villain will cause more havoc in the future. Morgan says his goodbye to Carol and decides to go off on his own, believing it to be better this way.
Daryl drove Dwight into the woods where a contrite Dwight prepared to be executed, but instead Daryl gave him the keys to the pickup truck and banished him, promising to kill him if he ever came back.
Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan, left) lets ex-Savior Alden (Callan McAuliffe) stay at Hilltop Colony, but isn’t happy with how the war with the Saviors turned out on AMC’s “The Walking Dead“. But she also wants them stronger and wants them to defende themselves better. Michonne too. So we’re gonna bide our time, wait for our moment.
Peace-keeping Jesus gave a hint of a smile as an even more surprising potential conspirator, Daryl, emerged from the shadows.
So “All-Out War“, an often frustrating tale, is finally over. Either way, Gimple admits there might be a bit of a civil war on the horizon. He had actually wanted to kill Rick but didn’t want to do it in front of Carl.
