Balotelli attacks Kanye West for ‘bull***t’ slavery comments

Kanye is one of the few people in public life – or non-public life, for that matter – who appears to be ‘fully realized, ‘” Marlow added. Much like Yeezy’s most devout fans, he’s having a hard time wrapping his head around his flippant remarks about slavery.

“It’s crippling to see what’s happened”.

Will.i.am has led the criticism of Kanye West’s controversial comments on the history of African-American slavery. That sounds like a choice.

“You hear about slavery for 400 years. It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned”, the 40-year-old said.

“Plastic makes flawless”, wrote Vera Sidika in one of her posts on social media. One TMZ staffer, Van Lathan, fired back at West with a retort that has since gone viral.

“I think he’s trying to take people on a journey”, said U.S. radio host Ebro Darden, after speaking to West last week. You’re not just gung-ho with the opinions and the comments. You’re entitled to believe whatever you want, but there is fact and real world, real life effect behind everything you just said.

“I am my ancestors, I am their survival, I am their will”, Lathan said. And when you’re a slave, you’re owned.

“I told him it was a awful look and I told him it was a stupid comment”.

The “Gold Digger” rapper has been hitting headlines ever since he returned to Twitter last month and pledged his support for controversial USA president Donald Trump.

A rep for West did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap on whether he would consider a collaboration with the conservative site.

West has previously made comments about slavery in his music, including New Slaves, where he suggested a modern kind of mental enslavement by consumer culture. Of course I know that slaves did not get shackled and put on a boat by free will.

West tried to apologize for hurting Lathan’s feelings, but Lathan said the rapper’s “mouth is too big”. Slavery is embedded within us. Not all of us have to think politically the same way. That’s great when you’re putting out a song calledJesus Walks” and radio doesn’t want to play it… that’s great when you’re talking to Sway and you’re standing up for LGBT. He also claimed that West gave him a shout-out during his recent appearance on TMZ.

West announced on April 19 that his new album will be released on June 1.

When asked where he is mentally, Kanye told Charlamagne: “I think I’m in a stronger place than I ever was”.
