Shares of The Female Health Company (FHCO) are 8% higher Tuesday midday after the company said it expects to report FC2 female condom unit sales of 61 million for the fiscal year ended September 30 (FY2015), an increase of 43% over 42.5 million units sold in FY2014.
FY2015 unit sales were the company’s second highest and were just short of the record 61.6 million units sold in FY2012.
The company also announced that it expects to report sales for Q4 FY2015 of approximately 13.7 million units, for an increase of 41% over the prior year quarter.
FHCO trades within a narrow band of $1.26 – $4.70.
