NFL/via YouTube NFL has put out a music video called “Super Bowl Babies Choir” which featers some actual Super Bowl Babies, meaning they were conceived after a Super Bowl win, to Seal’s ‘Kiss from a Rose‘.
The commercial begins with a graphic that reads: “Data suggests that 9 months after a Super Bowl victory, winning cities see a rise in births”. The fans – who range from 49-year-old Green Bay Packer babies to 1-year-old Seattle Seahawks babies – form a choir that sings a remake of “Kiss from a Rose” by Seal, who makes a cameo in the ad. “I’m happy that I’ve put in the work to earn a spot on the team and to earn a spot in the Super Bowl“. “An event like this brings so many people together, and to have a song I wrote 25 years ago still be so loved is very special for me”. That will change with Super Bowl 50 and the NFL’s 60-second “Super Bowl Babies” spot.
One of the lines is “Mom and Dad looked at each other, one thing led to another that night”.
A few of the Super Bowl ads for this Sunday’s big game have already dropped, and I declare this one the victor so far.
One of the most dramatic commercials ever was Apple’sintroduction of the MacIntosh computer during the 1984 Super Bowl game between the Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers.
As if that weren’t enough, SI has a 50 Years of the Super Bowl collector’s edition that will, surely, make a nice addition to your recycling pile at the end of the week.
