Saturday Night Live’s annual Christmas episode received a huge boost with the addition of former cast members Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
In a bit of clever Jedi mind-trick-thinking, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night to promote Sisters…using Star Wars toys.
Hillary 2015 reassured her things are different this time around and that her Democratic opponent, “Bernie “Never Heard of Him” Sanders”, is no Barack Obama.
“I need to get back to 2008 and send a bunch of emails”, Poehler’s candidate remarks, which prompts 2015 Clinton to rip the phone out of her hand and smash it.
Fey and Poehler reply by saying they get by with help from their squads, which includes nannied, their shared gynecologist and a few very famous faces.
All of the stars of the movie played along, but when it was Poehler’s turn she couldn’t hide her true disdain of the sci-fi flick or the Constable Zuvio figurine.
It’s then that 2008 Clinton offers her current self some advice: Don’t be cocky. “I think your gonna sleep well tonight”, Kate McKinnon’s 2016 Hillary tells herself in the mirror, as she prepares for a night of restful sleep and “productive dreaming”.
Upon telling 2008 Hillary that she may be running against Republican Donald Trump in the general election, the two exclaim, “Oh my God”.
‘We’re gonna be President’, they gleefully scream. The pair is interrupted by Sarah Palin and it’s expectedly epic!
She said during an interview on “Alan Carr’s Chatty Man”: “Amy Poehler and I hosted it three times, and that used to ruin Christmas”.
