Apple 5se to be announced in March

Today’s report also suggests that the iPhone 5se will be available in 16GB and 64GB models. However, there is no confirmation that the leaked image of the alleged iPhone is indeed the forthcoming 4-inch iPhone by Apple.

The leaked image of the 4-inch iPhone was obtained by One More Thing via Gijs Raggers.

The report from 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman, who has credible sources within the Apple production, said the 5se would have the cameras, A8 and M8 chips of the iPhone 6, the Bluetooth, WiFi and Live Photos from the 6s, and an NFC (Near Field Communication) Chip.

There have already been a lot of fake iPhone pics, but the fact that the iPhone 5SE image is next to the iPhone 5S for scale makes it seem more credible than other photos. It will be able to make Apple Pay transactions, and it will have the same A8 processor as the iPhone 6.

Rumors keep popping up regarding the upcoming budget-priced “iPhone 5se” (or possibly the “iPhone 6c”). The rumored “iPhone 5se”, which will offer a smaller screen size than the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, will also skimp on storage space.
