Following the success of Tales of Zestiria and other Tales titles in North America and Europe, Bandai Namco announced today that its latest Tales title, Tales of Berseria, is coming west for both PS4 and PC. Players will take part in fast-paced 2vs2 gameplay to larger, more strategic Team Battles.
According to the press release, the game’s world will be set in “a kingdom made of continents and countless archipelagoes” with advanced sailing technologies that are shown in the trailer embedded above.
“Our western fans have been asking to get their hands on a localized God Eater game, we heard them and to start with, we are bringing two of them!” This is the first game in the series to come to a current-gen console, as the last one based on “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” came out on the PS3.
“PlayStation” is a registered trademark of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. In a world ravaged by mad gods, these “God Eaters” are engaged in a desperate war… The game will feature a new original story supervised by the creator of the original manga series, Hirohiko Araki, and is being developed by CyberConnect2. Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force has also been confirmed for localization and a PS Vita release here, as well. The game looks wonderful, boosted by the console’s capabilities. Along her journey, Velvet will meet a whole cast of characters, including a young boy named Laphicet.
Fighting-game fans will be treated to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven (pictured) and One Piece: Burning Blood.
Bandai Namco has also announced that they will be releasing more exclusive games in the future very soon.
