Toto released a series of tweets on his official Twitter account about the rumored Nintendo NX that claims Bandai Namco Entertainment is developing multiple games for Nintendo’s next console, including Super Smash Bros.
When Super Smash Bros. released on Wii U it became the fastest selling title for the system, reaching half a million units sold in its first three days on sale in the USA alone. As always, characters can be bought on either the Wii U or 3DS, with the option to pay slightly more for access to both versions.
Bayonetta and Corrin will also be joined by the final batch of Mii costumes, including an adorable chocobo hat, a bunch of characters from Sonic and more.
But according to several game critics and aficionados, this game will more than likely be a port from the Wii U version of Smash Bros.
Both characters will be hitting the game in the afternoon of February 3, and you can see gameplay of Bayonetta vs. Corrin as well as the Umbra Clock Tower stage below.
Both characters move super fast and have what appears to be a fun bag of tricks at their disposal. DualShockers reports that Toto has a decent track record of providing accurate insight into Nintendo’s plans.
Corrin is a bit cheaper in comparison to Bayonetta, due to the fact that he doesn’t come with his own Fire Emblem themed stage.
And don’t forget to dress up your Mii and Knuckles and Tails. The costume bundle can be purchased for $4.50 or $6.90 depending on whether gamers want it for one system or both.
Sakurai previously stated that DLC for Super Smash Bros. would be coming to an end, which has disappointed some gamers.
