Nope. She released an entire music video, too, which features daughter Blue Ivy. However, it is not unconfirmed if Beyonce is going to debut the song Sunday.
It’s unclear if she’ll perform the song during tomorrow’s halftime show – but according to reports, she was spotted rehearsing it this week. Despite opening with a powerful shot of Bey atop a cop vehicle in a drowned-out New Orleans, in true Queen Bey form, the clip also delivers a number of expertly choreographed dance numbers.
That’s right, Beyonce has just released a new music video for “Formation“, her first solo since 2014. The Louisiana-focused “Formation” takes the “7/11” performer back to her family roots, with a video that jumps back and forth between Southern Gothic aesthetics and Hurricane Katrina-tinged devastation.
In addition to the video release, Beyonce also released a line of apparel and clothing called “The Formation Collection” on her web-site today.
The end of the video shows a wall that reads “Stop shooting us” as a boy wearing a hooded sweatshirt holds his hands in the air.
With a stream of tiny outfits, lingerie, and even a police auto – Beyonce has already sent fans into meltdown – even giving Dr. Martin Luther King an appearance.
