Former President Bill Clinton will kick off 2016 by headlining two campaign events for his wife, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
Clinton also kicked off a two-day swing in Iowa, where she was scheduled to attend several organizing events in preparation for the caucuses.

Far less of a public presence than he was during the 2008 primary, when his remarks about Barack Obama’s campaign angered some of the party’s base, Clinton’s deployment by his wife’s campaign signals a confidence that he is still a formidable political asset.
“You are very rude and I’m not going to ever call on you”, Clinton snapped at O’Brien, after repeated interruptions by the state senator.
Hillary Clinton, her husband said, offers the best path to economic prosperity, dealing with social problems like heroin addiction and foreign policy that doesn’t undermine the American character.
In New Hampshire, site of the first primary election February 9, she is fending off a challenge from Sen.
“Today I want to send a message to every survivor of sexual assault”, Clinton said.
He said he thinks his wife can win the Democratic nomination in New Hampshire because “they’ve been good to us and we’ve worked hard”. His decision to return to the campaign trail in New Hampshire is notable because that’s the state that boosted his own campaign in 1992.
“It’s kind of scary this year, but believe it or not, most everybody actually tries to do what they say they’re gonna do when they’re running”, Clinton said.
“I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence”, Clinton said calmly before moving onto other questions.
