The former president also hit out at the Sanders campaign for “looting information from our computers” – likening the episode to stealing a auto with the keys in the ignition – and sent a message to young voters, who polls have suggested now favor Sanders over Hillary Clinton by as much as two to one.
“I’ve gone to Wall Street”.
“And I will say this to them”, Clinton continued. “We’ve said that, if people are out there doing things on the Internet that are inappropriate, you know we want that to be no part of our campaign”.
On the Democratic side, Clinton hasn’t held the led in the New Hampshire polls since last August. “I wish it were for a different reason” said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as she spoke in Flint Sunday afternoon. Clinton referred to a CNN report that in 2006, Sanders received $37,300 from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, along with $60,000 worth of advertising.
While the Clinton campaign declined to comment formally for this story, aides have told reporters they will be happy with any outcome that puts Clinton within a closer margin to Sanders than recent polls.
“I don’t have any insight into her position on this”, Hillary told Newscenter 5’s political reporter Janet Wu about Warren’s endorsement. “I don’t want anybody, anybody, who is engaged in sexism to support me“, he said in a NBC interview on Sunday night. But the national media attention that followed what Sanders described as a “virtual tie” appeared to bolster the Vermont’s senator’s momentum heading into the New Hampshire primary – at least with Democratic voters nationally, if not voters in New Hampshire. It’s not an easy task but if done properly, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will have the support and the substance needed to secure a victory in November and the White House for the next four years.
No surprises in New Hampshire: Bernie Sanders will win but the Clinton campaign should use this as the catalyst to stop playing nice.
“Let’s make sure we take care of the people of Flint, and give every child a chance to live up to her God-given potential”, Clinton said. She added that Albright already issued that statement since 2008 when she also supported Clinton’s race against Barack Obama. And ahead of the voting, Bill Clinton is unleashing a strong attack against his wife’s rival, Bernie Sanders. “The question we have got to ask ourselves is do we have the courage to take on a billionaire class and say loudly and clearly, ‘That our government belongs to all of us.’ …”
