The actor who has six Golden Globe Award nominations in his Hollywood resume confirmed that Bill Paxton always went out of his way to help him during the course of his career. “I’ve never laughed harder than when he was on a roll doing characters”.
“He was really proud and excited about the show”, Schindel said. “We could see the presidential seal and my dad said, ‘Get in the vehicle, we’re going to go and see the motorcade go by.’ We jumped in my dad’s Oldsmobile and we sat there and we saw the whole motorcade go by”.
“The whole process took about two hours to come together”, said Wetter, who added that there was high interest in the tribute from the storm chasing community. “From the moment we met on Big Love, I knew he was a friend for life… but then everyone has felt that after working with him”. He actually thought it was amusing. Kiss ya?’ We both laughed and suddenly it was like talking to an old friend. “It was up here in Santa Barbara where I live and all the kids went out and had a great time and fast-forward to 20 years later my son still fishes every weekend and that’s because of Bill”. “Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times in recent years and he was truly the loveliest guy”. While his most recent projects were with television, Paxton had his share of memorable roles in the big screen. Without Brock Lovett, that story would have not been told.
Trentham says Paxton had a knack for remembering faces and names, which he learned during a first date. Other Big Love stars who’ve already paid tribute to Paxton include: Bella Thorne, 19, who played one of his daughters, Ginnifer Goodwin, 38, who played his third wife, and Chlöe Sevigny, 42, who portrayed his second wife.
“Sad to read on #Oscars day that talented actor Bill Paxton has passed”. The outpouring of people making tribute, connecting, sharing condolences tells us we are all struggling to carry and share the sadness that so many in the world are feeling for a man that was so well loved. A warm and handsome soul and a talented actor.
