Boise Airport expects busy holiday travel season

Wednesday is one of the busiest days for travel in the United States.

That increases drivers’ odds of getting a traffic ticket, because the Tennessee Highway Patrol will have troopers stationed every 20 miles on I-40 from today through Sunday, along with increased law enforcement on all highways.

WTOC spent part of the morning at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport to gauge how things are going, and so far, things have been relatively calm.

“It’s so much easier and we don’t have to pay a shuttle, or fight traffic or the parking in Denver”, said Douglas Henry.
