Though the experience is pretty much universal, I know that doesn’t make it any less lonely to go through.

Q: What are your immediate goals for track? Without her, I wouldn’t be the athlete I am today.

“That is nothing against anyone in the state”.

“I think I’ve been consistent at all my meets”, Smith said.

Fritz finished her career at JCHS by leading the Lady Patriots to a District 2-AAA Championship and Region 1-AAA runner-up finish her senior season.

“It really creates a great community of student-athletes who are also Christ followers, and allows us to support each other”, Merzbacher said.

“There’s no easy games in this league”, said Wellens.

“A lot of attention will be placed on people saying “we can do this, we can do that”, but I’m the same as I have been from day one this year”. While it may not be the way for all athletes it serves a significant goal for him.

“For us to do what we want to do as a team, it’s not only going to take the guys at the front end, but it’s going to take each position to make sure that they pull their weight”, Lauterbach said.
